Dixfield Foam Insulation will make your home more comfortable and safe while saving energy!

Did you know that homes are responsible for consuming a whopping 21% of the energy in the United States? Dixfield Foam Insulation, Inc., wants to help you reduce that number, while at the same time making your home safer, healthier, more comfortable, and more affordable to heat and cool.

About Dixfield Foam Insulation, Inc.

We're a foam insulation contracting company serving the southern and western Maine. Offering both open cell and closed cell spray foam insulation, we can drastically improve your home's comfort and energy performance.

A small-town company, we pride ourselves on providing quality work, superb customer service and quality assurance that you won't find anywhere else. We work with some of the state's top building science and energy efficiency experts as trade partners (including select, trusted energy auditors and building inspectors as well as air sealing and insulation teams) to make sure that our customers are left with an end result that's nothing short of completely satisfying. If we think that you could achieve your comfort goals more affordably with cellulose insulation, we'll let you know. If we think that a blower door test to analyze your home's level of air leakage would benefit you and your family from either an economic or a health and safety standpoing, we won't hesitate to let you know.

Be sure to check out some of our educational articles to get informed about the basics of home energy efficiency, and learn more about our company.  Check out our Certification here. And feel free to contact us with any questions regarding your home's comfort, health, safety or energy use.  We'll look forward to hearing from you.

Here we have an enclosed box with a small blower attached to the back, showing just how much air travels through commonly used insulation.

Testimonials

  • Thank you for allowing me to test the project in Cumberland. For a building of around 7000 Square feet I expected the blower door number to approach 4000 CFM. Because of your excellent foam application and the quality of the builder the blower door reading was only 2400 CFM at 50 Pascals!
